The terms of using this site.

What these terms cover

These terms cover your use of velocitystudio.co.uk. They do not cover work we do for a client: that is governed by the proposal and agreement signed for that work, and where the two disagree, the agreement wins.

Using the site

You are welcome to read the site, use the quote builder and send us an enquiry. Please do not try to break it, scrape it at a rate that affects other people, or use it to send anybody anything they did not ask for.

The prices on this site

Every price here is a starting price, written as "from", because what a clinic needs is not the same as what a three-room salon needs. A price on a page is an invitation to talk, not an offer we are bound to, and the price you are quoted after a conversation is the one that counts.

Monthly services are rolling and are cancelled with thirty days notice unless your agreement says otherwise. Advertising budget is paid to the platform and is not included in any fee shown here.

What we say about results

The client results on this site are real, and the figures are the ones we measured for that client over the period described. They are not a promise about what will happen for you. Search rankings, advertising costs and booking rates depend on your treatments, your prices, your area and your competition, and anybody who guarantees you a number is guessing.

Some of our work is under a confidentiality agreement, which is why a few case studies name the business and the result but do not link to the site or to a longer write-up. We would rather say less than break a client’s confidence.

Who owns what

The design, words, photography and code of this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from, and the typefaces are licensed for this site only. Please do not copy them.

Work we produce for a client belongs to that client once it is paid for, including the website, the domain and the artwork. That is the point of it.

What we are not responsible for

We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or never goes down. Nothing here is advice you should act on without talking to us first.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Advertising rules in this sector

We work with health, beauty and aesthetics businesses, which means the advertising rules that apply to clinical treatments apply to the work. We will tell you when something you want to say cannot be said, and we will not run it if it breaches the CAP Code or the rules on advertising prescription-only treatments. The business whose name is on the advertising remains responsible for it.

Which law applies

The studio is based in Scotland. These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
